Advanced technological lines and automation systems at the Plastpol 2025 trade fair
For four days, machines from all over the world will be presented working love. Technologically advanced extruders, plastic injection machines, robots, entire production lines, production management systems and plastic recycling equipment are on show for visitors who learn about the offers of market leaders such as MAPRO, Engel, Sumitomo Demag, KraussMaffei, Bole Europe Technology, Plastiblow, Campetella Robotic Center, Dopak, ProPlastica, Reifenhauser, TOYO EUROPE SRL, LS MTRON, Moretto, ELBI, Asten Group, 1.Plastcompany Polska and Muehsam. These companies present single machines and integrated, fully automated production lines, often based on cloud solutions supporting data collection and analysis. The use of artificial intelligence in analysing the injection cycle and optimising moulding parameters is becoming standard. Production is focused on reducing operating costs, increasing the repeatability of details, and minimising material losses. This affects the competitive price of the final product without compromising quality.
Intelligent injection moulding machines, robots, and digital process control are showcased at Targi Kielce.
New technologies will be displayed working live at the Arburg expo stand. Visitors can see the Allrounder 570 A electric injection moulding machine equipped with the Gestica control system in a live demonstration. The machine will produce transparent polycarbonate (PC) cups, which are lightweight, aesthetic, reusable, and sustainable alternatives to glass and disposable cups. Thanks to its operator support functions and real-time production data analysis, the Gestica system enables better quality control, lower raw material and energy consumption, and minimises human errors.
Arburg will also demonstrate the Allrounder 470 H Comfort hybrid injection moulding machine. This machine integrates a cost-effective electric clamping unit and a hydraulic injection unit, delivering a compromise between efficiency and precision. The machine will produce PP toys, showing how low-cost production can be combined with high quality and cycle speed.
The Wittmann Battenfeld expo stand is the attention centre owing to the innovative SmartPower Combimould injection moulding machine with a servo-electric injection unit. This device is adapted for integration with robots, allowing for complete production process automation—from feeding the raw material through forming to packaging the details. Integrated digital monitoring systems for production parameters ensure work cycle optimisation and energy consumption reduction by up to 20–30%. Wittmann robots and modern peripheral devices will also be presented. These devices are designed to enable the integration of the entire line in terms of Industry 4.0.
The ENGEL expo stand is the showcase for the exact, all-electric e-mac machine, equipped with the ENGEL cleanroom package; this will occupy a prominent place. The compact e-mac series now saves space when producing medical parts in cleanrooms. Multi-cavity moulds require high precision and fast injection, and the latest generation of injection units provides both. Wintec is the second injection moulding machine brand in the ENGEL Group to be presented at the Plastpol trade fair: Twin-platen injection moulding machines are particularly popular for single-component injection moulding, which does not require any non-standard technologies but places high demands on quality and process repeatability. The applications range include household appliances, technical molding and the automotive industry. ENGEL will showcase an automation station perfectly tailored to the specific application and digital solutions such as the iQ software family. The latest are the IQ process observer and iQ hold control tools.
BOLE Europe will present three new machines, including the latest double-platen injection moulding machine from the DK series; this modern and versatile model offers innovative technological solutions that can be seen in action live.
Innovative air filtration and dust extraction systems from NEU-JKF will be among the specialist technologies presented during the Plastpol trade fair. The solution is designed for safe, efficient and sustainable plastics production and it helps reduce the amount of airborne dust and optimise production processes.
TRIA will showcase the JM 4215 granulator, designed for in-line grinding of sprues, scrap pieces, glass fibre-reinforced technopolymers, and elastomers. RINCO POLAND will present precise ultrasonic welding solutions that revolutionise efficiency, quality and durability in plastics processing.
Recycling as a pillar of circularity – material-adapted technology
The number of companies offering recycling equipment increases every year; and among them will be P&F Wartacz, EREMA, MEYER Europe. The Vecoplan expo stand features the VIZ 1300 shredder in the central place, adapted to process various fractions of plastic waste. The device is exceptionally flexible and allows for modification of the rotor geometry and knife arrangement. It can be precisely adapted to a specific type of material, including production waste, foil, containers or technical elements. Owing to intelligent energy management systems, the machine consumes less electricity while maintaining high efficiency, directly impacting the unit cost of regranulate production.
SOLLAU will present materials for the plastics industry—high-quality granulates and regrinds adapted to various applications. The machine portfolio includes Wobide Shredders and Pre-shredders, which prepare waste for further recycling or reuse with high efficiency and low maintenance costs.
Raw materials and materials – diverse, ecological, future-proof
Plastpol also places strong emphasis on modern raw materials and additives that support the efficiency and ecology of processes with companies such as Bedeko, Brenntag, Polimarky, ML Polyolefins, Anwil, Plastpolan, Lyondellbasell, GM Colors, Granulat-Chmielarz, Grupa Azoty, Begra, KINGFA, Akpol Recykling, Kraiburg TPE, Mol Group, NCT, Albis, TELKO, TCR, Chemieuro and Bridge Polymers. They will offer a wide range of materials: from high-purity regranulates, through chemically recycled granulates, to biodegradable and modified plastics for specific application needs.
LATI will present advanced thermoplastic solutions also related to flame retardant compounds compliant with international standards, electrically and thermally conductive materials for advanced industrial applications, and self-lubricating compounds that can replace PTFE while improving wear resistance.
HSH Chemie and Imerys will present high-performance polymers, fillers, functional additives, processing aids and stabilisers, elastomers, and rubber chemistry.
Baerlocher will present a new product, a sustainable additive to polyolefins without PFAS, an innovation in plastics processing. Alongside PVC stabilisers and processing aids, solutions to optimise the properties of the final product, extend the life of injection moulds, and reduce energy consumption will be showcased.
