NTE PROCESS: premium technologies for top performances

NTE Process provides turnkey plants with process solutions that cover all the needs of companies in the rubber industry: from dense phase conveying to air mixing but also liquid injection, in-line formulation and packaging

NTE Process is a Single Source Provider of turnkey plants with process solutions that cover all the needs of companies in the rubber industry: from dense phase conveying to air mixing but also liquid injection, in-line formulation and packaging.

The NTE Process dense phase conveying system uses the Air Assists® M366 and the innovative Artificial Intelligence Air Assists® M533, patented compressed air or nitrogen injection systems that are strategically positioned along the pipeline allowing to limit demixing and deterioration phenomena, improving and optimizing the control and speed of the conveyed product.

The experience of NTE Process’ customers in the rubber and tyre industry has shown to be the best for primary products for tyre production, as it guarantees the integrity of carbon black and silica pellets (fines < 1%) as well as reducing consumption by up to 70% with patented ECO Air-Tronic technology.

NTE Process’ typical applications are:

• rail cars and trucks unload

• silos storage

• conveying lines to hoppers

• batching and preparation of the recipes

• batching and weighing over blenders

• Atex proof handling systems for very explosive products such as resins.

NTE Process also offers patented pneumatic mixers “Blender M244 and Jetmixer® M531” without mechanical parts in contact with the product. Timed pulses of compressed air gently lift the materials upwards and outwards in a continuous circular motion. By combining the air mixers with NTE Process’ M535 Liquid Injection Skid, liquids are injected directly into the piston chamber. This patented technology improves liquid dispersion in powders (silica, carbon black, etc.) by using air as a distribution vehicle. The system can inject up to 6 liquids at the same time, avoiding the accumulation of powder on the nozzle and the droplet effect that generally characterises traditional injection systems.

NTE Process Research and Innovation Centre is equipped with a full scale pilot plant – unique in Italy and one the most complete in Europe – where it is possible to test its technologies, perform both scientific tests and full scale tests with customers’ products (atomization, drying, solid-liquid mixing, parallel processing, pneumatic conveying, etc.) to simulate at best the performance of the different technologies in real conditions and have a predictive analysis of performance, energy consumption and all the details necessary for the correct design of industrial plants.
